Diplomant se bude ve své bakalářské práci věnovat tématu reprezentace ženských postav v žánru BL drama v thajské televizní produkci, a to na příkladu dvou pořadů, Love Sick: The Series a Make It Right. Cílem práce je poukázat na užití stereotypů v zobrazování ženských postav a jejich funkce v narativu daného žánru. Analýza postav bude provedena na základě textů Richarda Dyera, Jeremyho Butlera a Jasona Mittella. Tato metoda bude doplněna teoriemi reprezentace genderu v médiích.In their bachelors thesis the author is writing about the representation of female characters in the BL drama genre in thai television production with focus on two shows, Love Sick: The Series and Make It Right. The objective of this thesis is to point out the use of stereotypes in images of female characters and their narrative functions in this genre. Character analysis is based on texts by Richard Dyer, Jeremy Butler and Jason Mittell. This method is completed with the use of theories about gender representation in the media.
