Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním tvorby jihoafrické tanečnice a choreografky Dada Masilo, a to zejména prizmatem interkulturality a teoretických konceptů těla jako archivu a re-enactmentu. Choreografka přejímá západní taneční diskurz, který parafrázuje, modifikuje a transformuje v souvislosti se svým kulturním, společenským, historickým i politickým východiskem. Práce je složena ze čtyř částí. První se věnuje teoreticko-metodologickému modelu, ve kterém jsou vysvětleny zvolené aktuální zahraniční koncepty relevantní pro zkoumání tvorby Dada Masilo. Druhá část slouží jako kontextová kapitola definující specifické paradigma choreografky. Ve třetí části je analyzován modelový vzorek tvorby, konkrétně choreografie Giselle. Ve čtvrté závěrečné části jsou shrnuty výsledky a zobecnění analýzy na celou tvorbu choreografky. Cílem práce je definovat a představit specifika tvorby a aspekty interkulturality v umělecké tvorbě Dada Masilo.This bachelor thesis researches the work of Dada Masilo, a South African dancer and choreographer. The focus rest on interculturality and the theoretical concepts of body as an archive and re-enactment. She adapts the western discourse of dance, which she then paraphrases, modifies, and transforms according to her own cultural, social, political, and historical background. This thesis consists of four parts. The first part explains in a theoretical-methodological model all foreign concepts relevant for understanding the work of Dada Masilo. The second part serves as a contextual chapter about the choreographer's specific paradigm. The third part analyses a sample of her work, Giselle. The fourth and final part summarizes the results of this research and generalizes the analysis on the work of Dada Masilo, as a whole. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the specifics of interculturality in the work of Dada Masilo.
