Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje překladu románu Nos Vies od současné francouzské autorky Marie-Hélene Lafon. V teoretické části práce je popsána nejprve všeobecná situace teorie překladu a překladatelské procesy, dále se autorka věnuje specifikům literárního překladu. Třetí část práce je zaměřena na autorku Marie-Helene Lafon, její díla a specificitu autorského stylu, který je založen především na netradičním využití sloves a přívlastků. Následuje detailní rozbor překládané knihy Nos Vies, který se věnuje narativní perspektivě, osobám, jazykovým prostředkům a motivům v knize. Čtvrtá část obsahuje částečný překlad románu. Překladatelské problémy založené na rozdílném jazykovém a sociokulturním zázemí jsou samostatně rozebrány v komentáři k překladu. Na závěr autorka přikládá glosář zajímavých či netypických výrazů z knihy.The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to partially translate the book Nos Vies from contemporary French author Marie-Helene Lafon. The first part is theoretical and discusses in general what the translation is, which processes of translation are used and which particularity does the literary translation have. The second part talks about the author, the particularity of her author style concerning the language and discusses the main motifs through her books, mainly in Nos Vies. The motifs, the characters and the narrative perspective are more developed in the section Nos Vies de Marie-Hélene Lafon. The translation problems are discussed in the commentary of translation. The glossary has been written to present the interesting or difficult words in the book.
