Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá knihou Obrázky z Holandska od známého českého spisovatele Karla Čapka. Především je zde zmíněn jeho život a díla. Následně se věnuji jeho percepci v Nizozemsku, což bylo umožněno díky překladatelce Eva Raedt-de Canter a později také překladateli Kees Mercks. V druhé polovině je probrána teorie pro literární překlad a kritiku, což je nutné pro následnou analýzu a srovnání překladových verzí. Analýza je na základě příkladů v závěru vyhodnocena.This bachelor thesis deals with the book Obrázky z Holandska by the famous Czech writer Karel Čapek. First, his life and works are mentioned. Subsequently, I focus on his reception in the Netherlands, which was possible thanks to the translator Eva Raedt-de Canter and later the translator Kees Mercks. In the second half, the theory for literary translation and criticism, which is necessary for the subsequent analysis and comparison of translated versions, is discussed. Based on the examples, the analysis is then evaluated in the conclusion.
