Cílem bakalářské práce je na základě komparativní analýzy filmů Batman (režie Tim Burton, 1989), Temný rytíř (režie Christopher Nolan, 2008) a Joker (režie Todd Phillips, 2019) určit rozdíly v koncepci postavy Jokera. Konkrétně se analýza soustředí na způsob konstrukce této postavy, přičemž práce metodologicky vychází z publikace Richarda Dyera Stars a Umění filmu: úvod do studia formy a stylu Davida Bordwella a Kristin Thompsonové. Analýze jsou nejprve podrobeny jednotlivé koncepce Jokera v uvedených snímcích. V závěrečné kapitole je provedena komparace získaných poznatků, z nichž je vyvozen závěr, že snímek Joker oproti ostatním zkoumaným filmům vykazuje nejvyšší realističnost ve smyslu psychologického prokreslení postavy, zobrazení jejího vnitřního světa a možnosti divácké identifikace s ní a zároveň film staví diváka i do kritické pozice vůči této postavě.The goal of this bachelor thesis is to determine differences in conception of the character Joker from the movies Batman (director Tim Burton, 1989), The Dark Knight (director Christopher Nolan, 2008) and Joker (director Todd Phillips, 2019) based on comparative analysis. The analysis specifically targets the way of constructing Joker while being methodically based on publication from Richard Dyer Stars and Film Art: The Introduction from David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson. Analysis are firstly subjected to individual conceptions of the Joker in the movies. The comparison of achieved information is made in the final chapter, from which is concluded conclusion that the movie Joker has, against the other movies, the most realistic in the way of psychological rendering, picturing his inner world and the possibility of the viewer identification with Joker, while also putting the viewer in a critical position against this character.
