Bakalářská práce se zabývá faktory, které ovlivňují vztah mezi osobním asistentem a klientem s mentálním či tělesným postižením, a to z pohledu začínajícího asistenta. Pozitivní vztah mezi osobním asistentem a klientem osobní asistence je stěžejní pro úspěšnost osobní asistence. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu osobní asistence, historii osobní asistence, poskytované služby osobní asistence, povahu vztahu mezi osobním asistentem a klientem a také na samotného osobního asistenta a jeho předpoklady k výkonu práce osobní asistence. Dále se zabývá klientem osobní asistence s mentálním a tělesným postižením. Praktická část je založen na polostrukturovaném rozhovoru se začínajícími osobními asistenty. Otázky se zabývají faktory, které mohou ovlivnit vztah mezi osobním asistentem a klientem, povahou jejich vztahu a důvody k ukončení služby osobní asistence.The bachelor thesis deals with the factors that affect the relationship between a personal assistant and a client with a mental or physical disability from the perspective of a beginning assistant. A positive relationship between a personal assistant and a personal assistance client is central to the success of a personal assistance. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the definition of personal assistance, history of personal assistance, personal assistance services provided, the nature of the relationship between personal assistant and client and also the assumption of the personal assistant and his prerequisites for performing assistance. He also deals with personal assistance clients with mental and physical disabilities. The practical part is based on a semi-structured interview with beginning personal assistants. The questions address the factors that may affect the relationship between the personal assistant and the client, the nature of their relationship and the reasons for terminating the personal assistance service.
