Diplomová práce shrnuje celkové objemy emisí skleníkových plynů v evropských státech. Je popsán jejich možný budoucí vývoj vzhledem k stávajícím i nejnovějším mitigačním a adaptačním opatřením. Práce komentuje plnění cílů Kjótského protokolu, vyzdvihuje nové cíle Pařížské Dohody a představuje nejaktuálnější klimatické cíle Evropské unie, včetně Klimatického zákona.The diploma thesis summarizes the total values of greenhouse gas emissions in European countries. Their possible future development with regard to current and latest mitigation and adaptation measures is described. The thesis comments on the fulfillment of the objectives of the Kyoto Protocol, highlights the new objectives of the Paris Agreement and presents the most current climate goals of the European Union, including the Climate Act.
