Autorka bakalárskej diplomovej práce sa zameriava na problematiku zmyslu a zmysluplnosti onkologických pacientov po vyliečení z onkologického ochorenia a na ich individuálny pohľad s žitou skúsenosťou v kontexte hodnôt a otázok existenciálnej analýzy. Teoretická časť práce predstavuje rôzne hľadiská a pojatia fenoménu zmyslu, ako aj základné vymedzenie onkologického ochorenia a jeho fázy prežívania počas choroby a po vyliečení pacienta. Praktická časť prezentuje kvalitatívne orientovaný výskum na vzorke piatich respondentov. Dáta boli získané pološtrukturovanými rozhovormi a spracované interpretatívnou fenomenologickou metódou (IPA). Výsledné zistenia potvrdili vzťahovanie sa onkologicky chorého človeka ku hodnotovej orientácii existenciálnej analýzy a potreby objavovania zmyslu aj v čase hrozby zániku života. Spolu s ohrozeným životom človek hľadá zmysel a vôľu k tomu, pre čo žiť a prežiť. Tento zmysel, ktorý musí objaviť sám, ho zároveň utvára a presahuje. V kritických chvíľach života, je práve zmysel, schopnosť zaujať postoj a vnímať hodnoty tým, čo ho podrží, napriek nepriaznivým podmienkam osudu.The author of this bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of meaning and purpose of cancer patients after the cure of cancer and their individual perspective of surviving this illness and their experience in the context of values and questions of existential analysis. The theoretical part of the work presents various aspects and concepts of the phenomenon of meaning, as well as the basic definition of cancer and its stages of survival during the disease and after the patient has made recovery. The practical part presents qualitatively oriented research on a sample of five respondents. Data were obtained by semi-structured interviews and processed by interpretive phenomenological method (IPA). The resulting findings confirmed the relationship of a cancer patient to the value orientation of existential analysis and the need to discover meaning even at a time of threat of extinction. Along with endangered life, one seeks meaning and will for what to live and to survive for. This particular sense, which the patient must discover for themselves shapes and transcends them at the same time. In the critical moments of life, it is precisely meaning and the ability to take a stand by which the values are perceived by what will hold them, despite the unfavorable conditions of destiny.
