Práce se zabývá ekonomizací v jazyce. Cílem je najít, vymezit, popsat a odů-vodnit ekonomizační tendence v různých vrstvách jazyka od fonetických změn, přes výběr konkrétních slov až po větné a nadvětné konverzační a textové konstrukty. Práce definuje a ukotvuje pojem ekonomizace pro lingvistiku. Představuje rozlišné ekonomizační úkazy jak z praktického a teoretického hlediska, tak s ohledem na matematicky prověřované zákony kvantitativní lingvistiky a následné zkoumání z pohledu synergetické lingvistiky. Dané úkazy jsou vysvětleny pomocí příkladů a ilustrativních situací vlastních i převzatých. Práce je kompilací textů a zkoumání různých lingvistů a snahou jejich sjednocení pod pojmem ekonomizace. Primárním základem jsou studia od Paula Grice, Pavla Machače, Magdaleny Zíkové, Reinharda Köhlera, George Zipfa, Gabriela Altmana a Luďka Hřebíčka a následné texty dalších autorů rozvíjejících jejich díla.The topic of this thesis is economization in language. The primary aim is to find, define and describe economizing tendencies on several language levels starting with phonetic changes across choice of words to whole sentences and supra-sentence level. The work defines and anchors the term economization in the field of linguistics. Introduces different economizing phenomena from both practical and theoretical view, with accor-dance to mathematically tested laws of quantitative linguistics and subsequent examina-tion in synergetic linguistics. The phenomena are explained on made up and borrowed examples and situations. This work is a compilation of texts and studies of several linguists with aim to unite them all under the notion of economization. Primary basis is derived from the works of Paul Grice, Pavel Machač, Magdalena Zíková, Reinhard Köhler, George Zipf, Gabriel Altmann and Luděk Hřebíček and supplementary works of other authors.
