Tato práce se zabývá analýzou hospodaření města Prostějova v letech 2016-2019. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřená na územní samosprávu, na obec a její orgány. Dále popisuje rozpočtový proces a rozpočtovou skladbu. Praktická část obsahuje krátké představení města a poté následuje analýza hospodaření. Nejprve je analyzována struktura schválených a skutečných rozpočtů v jednotlivých letech. Dále je rozebrána příjmová a výdajová stránka rozpočtu obce - analýza se detailněji zabývá jednotlivými druhy příjmů a výdajů rozpočtu obce. Nakonec je na základě provedené analýzy zhodnoceno hospodaření obce.This diploma thesis is concerned with the economic analysis of the municipality Prostějov in years 2016-2019. The work is split into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the municipality, its agencies and self-governance. Then, it discusses the budgeting process and the municipality budget. The practical part first introduces the chosen town and then carries out the economic analysis. The analysis begins with a closer look on the structure of approved and the actual budgets in the observed time period. Next, the revenues and expenditures of the municipality are discussed in detail. Finally, with the help of the results of the analysis, the overall evaluation of the economic situation in Prostějov is made.
