Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na postoje ke stáří a stárnutí u geriatrických pacientů hospitalizovaných na II. interní klinice - gastroenterologické a geriatrie ve Fakultní nemocnici Olomouc. Dotazníkového šetření se zúčastnilo 300 hospitalizovaných seniorů (průměrný věk 77,6 +/- 7,8 roku; 216 [65,5 %] žen; MMSE skór 27,8 +/- 1,9; Barthelové Index 69,7 +/- 18,1). Pro sběr dat byly použity standardizované dotazníky v české verzi zaměřené na hodnocení postojů ke stárnutí (Attitudes to Ageing Questionnaire, AAQ), důstojnosti (Patient Dignity Inventory, PDI-CZ), deprese (Geriatric Depression Scale, GDS-15), kognice (Mini-mental State Examination, MMSE) a úrovně soběstačnosti (Barthelové Index, BI). Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že nejpozitivnější postoje ke stárnutí měli senioři v rámci AAQ domény Psychologický růst. Mnohorozměrná lineární regrese prokázala vliv věku, stupně soběstačnosti a důstojnosti pouze u AAQ domény Psychosociální ztráty. Jediným faktorem, u kterého se potvrdil vliv na hodnocení postojů ke stárnutí ve všech AAQ doménách, byla úroveň deprese.The diploma thesis focuses on attitudes to old age and aging in geriatric patients hospitalized for II. internal clinic of gastroenterology and geriatrics at the University Hospital Olomouc. The questionnaire survey involved 300 hospitalized seniors (mean age 77.6 +/- 7.8 years; 216 [65.5%] women; MMSE score 27.8 +/- 1.9; Barthel Index 69.7 +/- 18.1). Standardized questionnaires in the Czech version focused on the assessment of attitudes to aging (Attitudes to Ageing Questionnaire, AAQ), dignity (Patient Dignity Inventory, PDI-CZ), depression (Geriatric Depression Scale, GDS-15), cognition (Mini-mental State Examination, MMSE) and levels of self-sufficiency (Barthel Index, BI) were used for data collection. The results of the research showed that seniors within the AAQ domain Psychological Growth had the most positive attitudes towards aging. Multivariate linear regression demonstrated the effect of age, degree of self-sufficiency, and dignity only in the AAQ domain of Psychosocial Loss. The only factor that confirmed the influence on the assessment of attitudes to aging in all AAQ domains was the level of depression.
