During the EU enlargement aspiring members undergo a process of Europeanization, which is understood as a process of changing their domestic political, economic and administrative rules in line with the EU standards. In order to analyse why was Europeanization successful during the enlargement towards Central Eastern European countries but is delivering only limited results in the current enlargement towards the countries for the South-Eastern Europe, this thesis will compare the Europeanization of the administrative capacity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Czech Republic. Through the analysis of the EU official documents, analytical reports and action plans, this study concludes that the Europeanization of administrative capacity in BiH is more difficult when compared to Czech Republic because of the higher initial misfit at the beginning of Europeanization process, combined with a higher number of veto players and a lower conditionality credibility.During the EU enlargement aspiring members undergo a process of Europeanization, which is understood as a process of changing their domestic political, economic and administrative rules in line with the EU standards.
