Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou tematického atlasu Olomouckého kraje v infografickém provedení s využitím moderních grafických přístupů. Jako zdroje dat byla využita veřejně dostupná geodata (např. Český statistický úřad), existující kvalifikační práce z Katedry geoinformatiky Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci a data poskytnutá Krajským úřadem Olomouckého kraje. Rešeršní část je věnována studiu problematiky infografiky a atlasové tvorby, včetně rozboru vybraných metod tematické kartografie a tematických atlasů vybraných krajů. Nejrozsáhlejší část práce se věnuje samotné tvorbě atlasu. Na základě rešerše a dostupných dat byl navržen obsah, kartografický projekt a design atlasu. V programu Microsoft Excel z balíku Microsoft Office 365 proběhla příprava dat a následně zde byly provedeny některé analýzy a vytvořeny grafy. Úpravy, analýzy a základní vizualizace prostorových dat probíhaly v programu ArcMap ve verzi 10.6 od společnosti Esri z programové sady ArcGIS for Desktop. Grafické zpracování atlasu a jeho dílčích částí, jako jsou mapy, grafy atd. probíhalo v prostředí programu Adobe Illustrator CS6 z programové sady Adobe Creative Suite 6. Zde byly zhotoveny jednotlivé strany, ze kterých byl následně v prostředí Adobe InDesign CS6 atlas zkompletován. Ve stejném programu proběhla i předtisková příprava. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je vytvořený tematický atlas, a to včetně přípravy k publikování. Elektronická verze atlasu ve formátu PDF je dostupná na webových stránkách práce.The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of thematic atlas of the Olomouc region with infographics while using modern graphic approaches. The data for the work were obtained from public sources of available geodata (e.g. the Czech Statistical Office), existing theses from the Department of Geoinformatics, Palacky University Olomouc, and from the sources of the Regional Office of the Olomouc Region. The research part is devoted to the study of issues of infographics and atlas creation, including the analysis of selected methods of thematic cartography and thematic atlases of selected regions. The most significant part of the thesis is focused on the creation of the atlas. Content, cartographic project and atlas design were designed based on the research part and available data. Data preparation, fundamental analysis and graphs were realized in Microsoft Excel from Microsoft Office 365 package. Editing, analysis, and basic visualization of spatial data were done in Esri software, ArcMap version 10.6 from the ArcGIS for Desktop package. The atlas and its parts, such as maps, graphs, etc., were graphically processed in Adobe Illustrator CS6 from Adobe Creative Suite 6 package. Individual pages were made here, and the atlas was completed in Adobe InDesign CS6. Pre-printing preparation took place in the same program. The result of the bachelor thesis is a thematic atlas, including preparation for publication. The electronic version of the atlas in PDF format is available on the website of the thesis.
