It explains the Spanish literature, Canarian literature and their history in individual currents. The important part of this work is the chapter on the biography of the author and his work. Where we talk about the style, kind and current of his work. Then the work talks about the influence of the author in Spanish and Canarian literature, and also in society. In the end an analysis of two fragments of author's work is made using the knowledge of the previous chapters.
