Diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním přístupu Francie, Portugalska a Irska ke společné zahraniční, bezpečnostní a obranné politice Evropské Unie od začátku 90. let 20. století po současnost. Tyto země byly pro výzkum vybrány záměrně jako zástupci tzv. evropského, atlantického a neutrálního přístupu k SZBP a SBOP. Hlavním cílem práce je vyzkoumat, jak moc se liší přístup těchto zemí k SZBP/SBOP. Diplomová práce se dělí na čtyři kapitoly. První představuje teoretickou část a tedy koncept evropeizace. Následující tři se kapitoly věnují Francii, jako zástupce tzv. evropského přístupu k SZBP/SBOP dále Portugalsku reprezentujícího tzv. atlantický přístup a nakonec neutrálnímu Irsku. Všechny kapitoly mají totožnou strukturu společně s podkapitolami. V úvodu budou nastíněny zahraničně-politické pozice dané země v EU společně s jejich mírou evropeizace zahraniční politiky, kde je cílem konceptu evropeizace zachytit souhru mezi tvorbou národní politiky na vnitrostátní úrovni a na úrovni EU. Následné podkapitoly představovat kritéria komparace zvolené autorem a tedy vliv dané země na vývoj SZBP/SBOP, současné národní zahraničně-bezpečnostní preference a Evropa a vztah dané země k PESCO.The thesis deals with the comparative approach of France, Portugal and Ireland to the common foreign, security and defense policy of the European Union from the beginning of the 1990s to the present. These countries were deliberately selected for research as representatives of the so-called European, Atlantic and Neutral approach to the CFSP and CSDP. The main goal of the thesis is to examine how different the approach of these countries to the CFSP/CSDP differs. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one represents the theoretical part and thus the concept of Europeanization. The next three chapters will first introduce France, as a representative of the so-called European approach to CFSP/CSDP, then Portugal, representing the so-called Atlantic approach and finally neutral Ireland. All chapters have the same structure together with subchapters. The introduction will outline the foreign policy positions of the country in the EU together with their degree of Europeanization of foreign policy, where the aim of the Europeanization concept is to capture the interplay between national policy-making at national and EU level. Subsequent subchapters will present comparison criteria chosen by the author and hence the influence of the country on the development of the CFSP/CSDP, current national foreign security preferences and Europe and the relationship of the country to PESCO.
