Bakalářská práce se zabývá konceptem age managementu a dává ho do souvislosti s geografickou strukturou Libereckého kraje. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je znalost a uplatňování principů age managementu u manažerů v Libereckém kraji. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy a definice dané problematiky. Práce se zaměřuje na demografický vývoj, na stáří, stárnutí a problematiku postavení starších pracovníků na trhu práce. Praktickou část tvoří kvantitativní výzkum - dotazníkové šetření u manažerů firem s.r.o. v Libereckém kraji. Vyhodnocování probíhalo na základě dotazníkového šetření u 173 respondentů a výsledky ukazují, že znalosti manažerů nejsou dostatečné a firmy nejsou připraveny na stárnutí svých pracovníků.The bachelor thesis deals with the concept of age management and relates it to the geographical structure of the Liberec Region. The aim of this thesis is to find out what is the knowledge and application of the principles of age management in managers in the Liberec Region. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and definitions of the issue. The work focuses on demographic development, old age, aging and the issue of the position of older workers in the labor market. The practical part consists of quantitative research - questionnaire survey of managers of companies s.r.o. (Ltd.) in the Liberec Region. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey of 173 respondents and the results show, that the knowledge of managers is insufficient and companies are not ready for the aging of their employees.
