Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem severských detektivek z hlediska překladu, vymezením tohoto pojmu a výzkumu popularity a úspěšnosti tohoto žánru od začátku století z hlediska čtenářské recepce. Teoretická část této práce má za cíl zjistit, zda se u překladu severských detektivek objevuje jev nepřímého překladu, jehož vymezením se tato práce zabývá také. Dalším cílem práce je zjistit, zda se tento žánr liší z hlediska geneze, tedy zda se zde objevuje jev nepřímého překladu a pokud ano, jaký vliv bude mít takový překlad na čtenáře. Nepřímým překladem se rovněž tato práce zabývá i obecně. Praktická část spočívá v analýze českého překladu knihy Macbeth, jejímž autorem je norský spisovatel Jo Nesbo včetně čtenářské recepce nejen tohoto díla, ale obecně severského krimi u nás. Cílem je zjistit, jak populární tento žánr v tuzemsku je v období od roku 2000 až po současnost. Metodologie praktické části spočívá v průzkumu české národní knihovny, vyhledáváním názorů a recenzí na výše zmíněné dílo mezi běžnými čtenáři i profesionálními kritiky a zkoumáním žebříčku nejoblíbenějších knih, žánrů a autorů v České republice k vyvození popularity žánru severské detektivky.This bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of nordic crime fiction from the translatological point of view. The work explains this notion and provides a research of popularity since the beginning of the century. The theoretical part of the thesis tries to determine whether the phenomenon of indirect translation is present in the translation of the nordic crime fiction and if yes, what influence does it have on the reader. The thesis also provides the definition of the notion of indirect translation The practical part of the thesis deals with an analysis of the Czech translation of the book called Macbeth by a Norwegian author Jo Nesbo including the Czech readers' reception not only of this particular work, but the nordic detective genre in general. The goal is to find out what level of popularity has this genre achieved since 2000 until today. The methods used in the practical part include searching the Czech National Library, searching for critical reception and reviews of regular readers and professional critics and studying the ladders of the most popular books, genres and authors in the Czech Republic to determine the popularity of the nordic crime fiction.
