Cílem této bakalářské práce je umělecký překlad úryvku ze současného detektivního románu ruské spisovatelky Olgy Volodarské z ruštiny do češtiny. Záměrem bylo přeložit dílo, které doposud nebylo do češtiny přeloženo. Tato práce bude strukturovaná do pěti samostatných kapitol, z nichž poslední bude věnována právě překladu daného úryvku. První kapitola čtenáře uvede do teorie překladu uměleckého textu. Druhá kapitola bude pojednávat o detektivní próze, bude uveden popis vzniku a charakteristika detektivního žánru a rozvoj detektivek v Rusku a České republice. Třetí kapitola je věnována životopisu Olgy Volodarské, charakteristice její tvorby a rozboru překládaného románu. Celá čtvrtá kapitola se bude vztahovat k překládanému úryvku, bude se tedy jednat o překladatelský komentář.The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the translation of an excerpt from a detective novel by the Russian writer Olga Volodarskaya from Russian into Czech. The intention was to translate a text that has not yet been translated into Czech. This work will be structured into five separate chapters, the last of which will be devoted to the translation of the passage. The first chapter introduces the reader to the theory of translation of an artistic text. The second chapter will deal with detective prose, a description of the origin and characteristics of the detective genre and the development of detective stories in Russia and the Czech Republic. The third chapter is devoted to the biography of Olga Volodarskaya, the characteristics of her work and the analysis of the translated novel. The whole fourth chapter will be related to the translated passage, so it will be a translation commentary.
