Tato práce se v teoretické části zabývá vymezením pojmů stárnutí, stáří a dále problematikou aktivizační činností a jejími možnostmi. V praktické části je představen domov seniorů Hranice, ve kterém byl uskutečněn výzkum formou rozhovorů s obyvateli domova. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, názory a spokojenost s možnostmi a samotnou realizací aktivizační činnosti, které nabízí domov seniorů v Hranicích.In the theoretical part, this work deals with the definition of the concepts of aging, old age and the issue of activation activities and its possibilities. In the practical part is introduced the Home of Seniors Hranice, in which the research was conducted in the form of interviews with residents of the Home. The aim of the research was to find out opinions and satisfaction with the possibilities and the realization of the activation activities offered by the Senior Home in Hranice.
