Tato bakalářská práce je neoformalistickou analýzou scén zobrazující oběti násilných činů vyskytujících se ve snímku Sedm (1995) režiséra Davida Finchera. Jako metodologické východisko posloužila kniha Umění filmu: Úvod do studia formy a stylu Davida Bordwella a Kristin Thompsonové a studie Neoformalistická filmová analýza: Jeden přístup, mnoho metod Kristin Thompsonové. Cílem těchto analýz bylo na základě Bordwellova rozboru mizanscény definovat prostředky, které snímek používá ve vybraných scénách, a jejich motivace, které následně generují významy v rámci celého filmu. Výsledkem této práce je zjištění, že mizanscéna za pomoci všech svých prostředků definuje a utváří motivace a charaktery všech postav.This bachelor thesis is a neoformalist analysis of scenes depicting the victims of violent crimes in the film Seven (1995) by director David Fincher. David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson's book Film Art: An Introduction and Kristin Thompson's study Neoformalist Film Analysis: One Approach, Many methods served as a methodological starting point for me. The aim of these analyses was to define the means the film uses in the chosen scenes, and their motivations based on Bordwell's mise-en-scéne analysis, which then generate meanings within the framework of the whole film. The result of this thesis is the finding that mise-en-scéne with the help of all its resources defines and creates the motivations and characters in the film.
