V teoretické části bakalářské práce se budu zabývat charakteristikou média, tj. populárně naučného časopisu o historii, a problematikou překladu tohoto média. V úvodu budu z hlediska textové lingvistiky charakterizovat specifické rysy tohoto textového typu a načrtnu problémy, které se pojí s jejich převodem z výchozího do cílového jazyka, tedy z němčiny do češtiny. V praktické části se zaměřím na překlad vybraných článků a opatřím ho komentářem, ve kterém zohledním poznatky z teoretické části.In the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis I will define the medium, i.e. a popular scientific magazine about history, and the difficulties associated with translation of this medium. In the introduction I will define from the standpoint of textual linguistics the specific features of the textual type and outline the problems associated with their translation from the source language to the target language, i.e. German into Czech. In the practical part I will focus on the translation of selected articles and provide it with a commentary, in which I will take into account the findings from the theoretical part.
