Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat pohled a postoje ke smrti z hlediska středního personálu v domovech důchodců, léčebnách pro dlouhodobě nemocné a hospicích. Naše předpoklady byly ověřovány pomocí kvantitativní metodologie. Ke sběru dat byl použit dotazník, jehož hlavní část tvořil revidovaný profil postojů ke smrti (The Death Attitude Profile-Revised). Další část výzkumu tvořil nestandardizovaný dotazník, který obsahoval tři hesla, k nimž měli být napsány jednotlivé asociace. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 60 respondentů (49 žen a 11 mužů) dohromady ze všech tří zařízení. Pomocí popisné statistiky jsme zjistili, že personál v domově důchodců vykazuje negativnější pohled na smrt než ve zbylých dvou zařízení. Pomocí statistického zkoumání jsme zjistili, že střední personál v léčebně pro dlouhodobě nemocné vykazuje větší strach ze smrti než v ostatních dvou zařízeních.The aim of this work was to examine the view and attitudes to death from the point of view of middle staff in retirement homes, hospitals and long-term hospitals. Our assumptions were verified using quantitative methodology. A questionnaire was used to collect the data, the main part of which consisted of The Death Attitude Profile-Revised. Another part of the research consisted of a non-standardized questionnaire which contained three passwords for which individual associations were to be written. 60 respondents (49 women and 11 man) from all three facilities participated in the research. Using descriptive statistics we found that staff in a retirement home showed a more negative view of death than in the rest of the institutions. Using statistical research we have found that middle-aged staf in the long-term hospital have a higher fear of death than in other institutions.
