Bakalářská práce se věnuje porovnání úrovně vědomostních schopností žáků středních a vysokých škol různého typu a zaměření. Teoretická část obsahuje úvod do problematiky, praktická část porovnání výsledků testovaných osob pomocí ankety. Testování v podobě ankety proběhlo v roce 2020 na vysoké škole se zaměřením na ochranu obyvatelstva, vysoké škole jiného typu a dvou středních školách, z toho jedna byla oboru Gymnázia. Testováni byli také pedagogové základních škol, a to z oblasti výuky studentů v problematice terorismu a Islámského státu. Jednotlivé otázky z ankety, které byly k porovnání použity, ukázaly, že úroveň znalostí respondentů vysokých škol v oblasti terorismu Islámského státu byla ve většině otázek lepší. Výrazně častěji se podle očekávání této problematice věnují studenti vysoké školy se zaměřením na ochranu obyvatelstva, naopak vyšší úroveň znalostí prokázali studenti vysoké školy jiného typu. Vyšší úroveň znalostí dosáhli oproti střední škole oboru Gymnázia, studenti střední školy jiného typu.The bachelor thesis deals with comparison the knowledge level of high school and university students who have been concerned in different areas or subjects. The theoretical part contains an introduction to the issue, the practical part contains the comparison of results about surveyed subjects using an opinion poll. Testing in the form of the opinion poll was carried out in 2020 at the university focused on population protection, at a different type of university and at two high schools, from which one of them was a grammar school. Elementary school teachers were also tested about their knowledge in the field of terrorism and Islamic State issues. Questions asked in the opinion poll, that were used to compare, showed that the level of knowledge about Islamic State and terrorism issues was in the case of university students better almost at all questions and areas mentioned in the poll. As it was expected, university students focused on population protection were dealing with this issue significantly more often. On the other hand, higher level of knowledge has been proved with students of a different type of university. Compared to grammar school, a higher level of knowledge has been achieved by students of a different type of high school.
