Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat a popsat jaké dopady má užívání antidepresiv na kvalitu života pro jejich uživatele. Teoretická část práce přibližuje problematiku deprese. V další kapitole je popsáno dělení antidepresiv, jejich účinek a možná rizika. Výzkumná část byla pro detailní porozumění provedena kvalitativním přístupem. Typem výzkumu je případová studie, provedena na výzkumném souboru o rozsahu sedmi respondentů. Metodou sběru dat bylo polostrukturované interview. Výsledky ukázaly, že léčba přináší pozitivní i negativní dopady. U všech respondentů došlo ke snížení depresivní a úzkostné symptomatiky, které vedlo ke zlepšení jejich kvality života, pracovních schopností a životosprávy. Léčba zároveň všechny respondenty v něčem omezuje, avšak jde o omezení specifické pro situaci každého respondenta. Společné omezení nachází šest respondentů ve formě nežádoucích účinků, což je zároveň jeden z hlavních negativních dopadů. Všichni respondenti preferují aktuální zátěž oproti stavu před léčbou.The aim of the study was to examine and describe the effects of the use of antidepressants on the quality of life for their users. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the issue of depression. The next chapter describes the division of antidepressants, their effect and possible risks. The research part was carried out by qualitative approach for more detailed understanding. The type of research is a case study, carried out on a research set of seven respondents. The method of data collection was a semi-structured interview. The results showed that the treatment has both positive and negative effects. All respondents decreased in depressive and anxiety symptoms, which led to an improvement in their quality of life, working abilities and lifestyle. At the same time, treatment restricts all respondents in some way, but it is a situation-specific restriction. Six respondents find a common limitation in the form of adverse effects, which is also one of the main negative impacts. All respondents prefer the current burden over the condition before treatment.
