Tato práce se věnuje problematice vnímání rizika v dopravě. Má za cíl objasnit vztah mezi vnímáním rizika a konceptem sensation seeking. Práce je rozdělena do dvou celků. První z nich se věnuje teoretickým poznatkům o tomto tématu a druhý výzkumu, jenž byl v rámci této práce realizován. Pro výzkumnou část byl zvolen kvantitativní design. Data byla sbírána pomocí internetového dotazníku, jenž obsahoval inventář AISS a 35 videí, na kterých byly vyobrazeny různé rizikové dopravní situace. K analýze dat byla využita korelační analýza. Výsledky ukázaly, že vnímání rizika negativně souvisí s výší skóru v inventáři AISS a také jej ovlivňuje pohlaví jedince. Dále bylo zjištěno, že mezi vnímáním rizika a věkem není významný vztah, významný vztah také nebyl nalezen mezi vnímáním rizika a četností řízení.This thesis deals with the issue of risk perception in traffic. The main aim of this thesis is to clarify the relationship between risk perception and sensation seeking. This thesis is divided into two parts, the first one introduces with theoretical background about this topic and second part is based on research. Quantitative design was chosen for the research part. Data were collected by internet questionnaire. The questionnaire contained an AISS and 35 short videos of various risky traffic situations. Correlation analysis was used for data analysis. The results showed that the perception of risk was negatively related to the score in the AISS. Risk perception is also affected by gender. Furthermore, there was not found significant relationship between risk perception and age. No significant relationship was found between risk perception and frequency of driving.
