Práce se zabývá analýzou motivu stáří ve tvorbě spisovatele moderní japonské literatury, Jasutaky Cucuie, konkrétně Peklem a Koncem stříbrného věku. V práci zkoumám, jak autor s tímto motivem pracuje a které konkrétní prvky jsou pro obě díla společné. Ve svém výzkumu se zaměřuji především na postavy seniorů - na jejich charakteristiku, jaký typ role v příběhu zastávají a jakým způsobem jednají. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem tyto postavy seniorů autor ve svých dílech prezentuje a co jimi říká.This bachelor thesis focuses on the theme of old age in Yasutaka Tsutsui's Hell and End of the Silver Age. In this thesis I'm analysing how the author works with this theme and which particular themes are common in both novels. In my research I'm focusing on the characters of seniors - on their characterisation, what kind of role are they playing in the story and how do they act. The thesis aims to determine how Tsutsui presents his characters and what is he saying through them.
