Tématem diplomové práce popsat a zhodnotit, jak osoby s mentálním postižením využívající službu chráněného bydlení tráví volný čas, a to jak pohledem samotných uživatelů chráněného bydlení, tak také pohledem pracovníků chráněného bydlení. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje sociální služby, druhy a formy. Podrobněji se zaměřuje na chráněné bydlení, popisuje rozsah úkonů základních činností a dva hlavní aktéry chráněného bydlení - pracovníky a uživatelé. Druhá kapitola definuje dospělé osoby s mentálním postižením, včetně klasifikace a specifik, jelikož úzce souvisí s volbou a realizací trávení volného času. Třetí kapitola definuje pojem volný čas, včetně vymezení jednoduchého rozdělení či funkcí. Dále vymezuje volný čas osob s mentálním postižením. Na tuto kapitolu plynně navazuje plánování volného času v chráněném bydlení s ohledem na specifika osob s mentálním postižením a pracovníků chráněného bydlení. Druhá část diplomové práce se zabývá samotným výzkumem. Blíže popisuje využití výzkumné metody, charakteristiku výzkumného vzorku, metodu zpracování dat a samotné šetření.The topic of the diploma thesis is to describe and evaluate how people with mental disabilities using the sheltered housing service spend their free time, both from the point of view of the users of sheltered housing themselves and from the point of view of sheltered housing workers.¨The theoretical background consists of three chapters. Chapter 1 defines types and forms of social services. It provides detailed information on assisted living, describing the range of basic activities exercise and the two main participants i.e. the client and the social worker. Chapter 2 provides the definition of adult persons with mental disability, including the classification, and lists the specific features connected to leisure time choices and activities realized. Chapter 3 defines the concept of leisure time including, an overall classification and description of leisure time functions. It also provides the definition of leisure time in persons with mental disability. The chapter is followed up by a description of leisure time planning in assisted living facilities, taking into account the specific needs of persons with mental disability, as well as the social workers in assisted living facilities. The research part of the thesis deals with the research project. It provides detailed description of the method, characterizers the research sample, data processing and the overall research process.
