Tématem diplomové práce je analýza postav novinářů, kteří nahrazují v crime fiction filmech amerického režiséra Davida Finchera policisty a detektivy při vyšetřování zločinu. Práce se soustřeďuje na vliv, který má změna profese protagonisty na žánr. Ve filmech Zodiac (2007) a Muži, kteří nenávidí ženy (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, 2011) jsou nejprve definovány charaktery postav novinářů a jejich konstrukce. Tento základ slouží ke srovnání podobností a distinkcí mezi profesemi novináře a detektiva. Následně je zkoumáno, do jaké míry u žánru crime fiction protagonista ovlivňuje ostatní důležité žánrové parametry a subžánrové směřování filmů. Závěrečná interpretace zjištění popisuje způsob začlenění postavy novináře do struktur crime fiction, definuje jeho důsledky pro žánr a zkoumá důvody nahrazování detektivů novináři.The topic of master thesis is character analysis of journalists replacing detectives or policemen in crime fiction films made by american director David Fincher. Thesis focuses on the influence this change of protagonist can have on the genre. In Zodiac (2007) and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), characters of the journalists and their construction are defined. This background is used for comparison of similarities and distinctions between the occupations of journalist and detective. Thesis then further examines how the protagonist of crime fiction influences other important genre features and subgenre of specific film. Interpretation in the end describes possible ways of implementning character of journalist into crime fiction, defines it's consequences and examines reasons of replacing detectives with journalists.
