Cieľom diplomovej práce je analyzovať vzrastajúci počet chronických chorôb v regióne juhovýchodná Ázia klasifikovanej podľa Svetovej zdravotnej organizácie. Práca sa zameriava na hlavné kategórie chronických chorôb, ktorých zdravotná záťaž bude preukázaná na vybraných indikátorov zdravia. Hlavnými témami práce sú identifikácia hlavných spôsobov, akými vybrané sociálne determinanty prispievajú k nárastu chronických ochorení, určenie hlavných dopadov a prezentovať riešenia v ich prevencii a kontrole. Čitateľ tejto práce získa ucelený rámec o problematike chronických chorôb v rozvojovom svete.The aim of the master thesis is to analyze the increasing number of noncommunicable diseases in the South-East Asia Region. The thesis is focused on the main categories of noncommunicable diseases in which the health burden will be measured by selected health indicators. The main topics of the thesis are to identify how selected social determinants contribute to the health burden of noncommunicable diseases, recognize the main impacts of noncommunicable diseases and present the possible solutions to their prevention and control. The reader of the thesis will acquire a general knowledge of this issue in the developing world.
