Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dětstvím a mládeži v první světové válce ve vybraných románech. Po úvodní charakteristice dětství během války se práce zabývá charakteristikou válečné literatury, která tvoří teoretický základ pro analyzované texty. Jádro práce tvoří detailní analýza tří románů, přičemž ve dvou z románů je pozornost věnovaná především charakteristice reakcí na vypuknutí války a vyobrazení spojení války a sexuality. U třetího románu se práce věnuje vyobrazení dětství na frontě. Cílem této diplomové práce je znázornit dětství v první světové válce se srovnáním literárního zpracování.This diploma thesis deals with the childhood and youth in the First World War from selected novels. After the characterization of childhood during the war, the work deals with the characteristics of war literature, which forms theoretical basis for analysed texts. The main core of the thesis is a detailed analysis of three novels. In two of the novels, attention is focused primarily on characteristics reactions to the outbreak of war and the depiction of the connection with war and sexuality. In the third novel, the work focuses on depiction childhood on the front. The aim of this diploma thesis is to depict the childhood in the First World War and compare it with the literary processing.
