Cieľom tejto práce je analýza frazeologizmov a porovnanie prekladov frazeologizmov v diele Theodora Storma "Der Schimmelreiter". Teoretická časť sa zaoberá definíciou pojmu frazeologizmus a jeho vlastnosťami, klasifikáciou frazeologizmov, kontrastívnou frazeológiou, frazeologickou funkciou v texte, ekvivalenciou a následnou problematikou frazeologického prekladu. Praktická časť je zameraná na analýzu frazeologizmov vo vybranom diele a vzájomné porovnanie frazeologických ekvivalentov v jeho štyroch prekladoch. Prvý preklad "Jezdec na bílém koni" z roku 1906 je od J. Satranského, druhý preklad "Jezdec na bílém koni" z roku 1933 spracovala Stefa Schwarzová, posledné dva preklady pochádzajú z roku 1958: český "Jezdec na bílém koni" od Jaroslava Pokorného; slovenský "Jazdec na bielom koni" od Štefana Gráfa.This thesis deals with idioms, in particular with their translation in the novella "Der Schimmelreiter" written by Theodor Storm. The theoretical part describes types of idioms, their characteristics, comparative phraseology, types of equivalence and the translation issues of the idioms. The practical part focuses on the analysis of idioms in the chosen work. The aim of this practical part is the comparison of these idioms with their translation counterparts in three different Czech translations and one Slovak translation. The oldest one is J. Satranský's "Jezdec na bílém koni" (1906), the second one Stefa Schwarzová's "Jezdec na bílém koni" (1933), the third one "Jezdec na bílém koni" (1958) was translated by Jaroslav Pokorný and the last one "Jazdec na bielom koni" by Štefan Gráf
