Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu identity dítěte v náhradní rodinné péči. Cílem práce je prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu zjišťovat a poté popsat, jak pěstouni nahlížejí na potřebu budování identity dítěte v náhradní rodinné péči. Teoretická část práce popisuje rodinu, její funkce, náhradní rodinnou péči, potřeby dítěte a zabývá se tím, co znamená identita a jakou roli má biologická rodina pro dítě v náhradní péči. Teoretická část společně s cílem práce byla východiskem pro volbu metody výzkumu a zároveň podklad pro interpretační část, ve které je výzkum zhodnocen. Zvolenou metodou práce je interview. V závěru práce jsou výsledky výzkumu shrnuty a jsou zde uvedeny návrhy k jejich využití v praxi sociálního pracovníka pomáhající organizace.The thesis considers the topic of a child's identity in foster care. The goal of the thesis is to identify and describe how foster parents view the need to build a child's identity in foster care, This was accomplished through qualitative research. The theoretical section describes the family, its functions, the foster care system, and the needs of the child; it also addresses what identity means and what role the biological family plays in the child's life while in foster care. The theoretical section, together with the aim of the work as a whole, was the source for the choice of the methodology of the thesis as well as the basis for the interpretative section in which the research was evaluated. The chosen method of the research was interview. In the conclusion of the thesis, the results are summarized along with suggestions for their use in the practical context of a social worker of the assisting organization.
