Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu televizní formy seriálu Život a doba soudce A. K., konkrétně jeho dosud dvou natočených sezón. Zvolená metoda tedy bude zohledňovat především narativní, stylistické, žánrové a tematické prvky televizní formy seriálu, přičemž bude akcentovat textuálně orientovanou perspektivu (tj. kritický přístup ke studiu televize, založený na interpretaci zkoumaného předmětu). Spíše okrajově bude pojata kontextuální analýza vyhodnocující produkční kontext, případně marketingové výstupy (promo materiály) a další sekundární texty (DVD edice a s nimi spojené materiály) atd. při zohlednění žánrového charakteru pořadu bude práce zohledňovat především chápání žánru jako estetické kategorie (jeho konvenční formální prvky, nikoli pragmatické hledisko). Důležitým východiskem práce je samozřejmě respektování seriálové povahy televizního pořadu a od něj se odvíjející analytické terminologie.This thesis focuses on the analysis of the forms of television series The Life and Times of Judge A. K., specifically its previously filmed two seasons. The chosen method will therefore primarily reflect the narrative, stylistic, genre and thematic elements form a television series, which will accentuate textual oriented perspective (ie. a critical approach to the study of television, based on the interpretation of the object). Only marginally captivating contextual analysis evaluating the context of production, or marketing outlets (promotional materials) and other secondary texts (DVD editions and related materials) and others. Considering the genre characteristics of the program will work primarily reflect the understanding of the genre as aesthetic categories (the conventional formal elements, not pragmatic perspective). An important starting point is the work of course respecting the serial nature of the television program and from the unfolding analytical terminology.
