Práca pojednáva o Hre života, jej pravidlách, štruktúre a zaclenení do teórie bunkových automatov. Vysvetluje princípy bunkových automatov a ich využitie v biologických vedných odboroch. Výsledkom práce je WPF aplikácia implementujúca Hru života a jej dalšie rozšírenia.The thesis deals with the Game of Life, its rules, structure and integration into the theory of cellular automata. It explains the principles of cellular automata and their use in biological sciences. The result of this thesis is a WPF application implementing the Game of Life and its further extensions.
