Esta tesis se enfoca en hacer un análisis de la novela Los de abajo de Mariano Azuela y El águila y la serpiente de Martin Luis Guzmán, dos novelas que se inspiraron en los hechos de la Revolución Mexicana y que pertenecen al género de la novela de la Revolución Mexicana. La primera parte está dedicada al contexto histórico y a la teoría. La segunda parte se enfoca en el estudio de elementos explicados en la teoría narrativa, analizándolos mediante fragmentos de cada novela. El objetivo es demostrar la finalidad con la que los autores utilizaron los diferentes aspectos y el impacto que estos aspectos han tenido en la descripción de la Revolución Mexicana.This thesis is focused on analysis of The Underdogs by Mariano Azuela and The Eagle and the Serpent by Martin Luis Guzmán two novels inspired by the historical events of Mexican Revolution and that belong to the Mexican Revolution genre. The first part of this thesis is dedicated to the historical context and narrative theory and to define these elements. The second part focuses on the study of said elements and analysing them in fragments of each novel. The aim is to demonstrate the purpose in which the authors used these different aspects and the impact it has had on the depiction of the Mexican Revolution.
