Tato práce se zabývá životem a cestovním deníkem Elisy von der Recke, která započala svůj cestovní život, který popisuje ve svém cestovním deníku pod názvem: "Tagebuch einer Reise durch einen Theil Deutschlands und durch Italien in den Jahren 1804 bis 1806". Její cestování je představeno v druhé kapitole této práce, kde je detailně popsána cesta z Bayreuthu do Říma. Elisiny zážitky, dojmy, přírodní úkazy, lidské výtvory a doba ve které žila jsou podrobně analyzovány.The presented paper focuses on the life and the travel journal of Elisa von der Recke, a wanderer who has began with her vagrant life which she described in her travel journal with the title: "Tagebuch einer Reise durch einen Theil Deutschlands und durch Italien in den Jahren 1804 bis 1806". The mentioned journal is introduced in the second chapter of this thesis whereas her journey from Bayreuth to Rom is analyzed in detail. Elisa's experience, impressions but also natural phenomena as well as creations of humans and the time when she lives are extensively described.
