Bakalářská práce se zabývá fungováním Národní sítě Zdravých měst v Moravskoslezském kraji. Hlavním cílem je popsat strukturu a fungování Národní sítě Zdravých měst a pomocí dotazníků a rozhovorů se zástupci NSZM a jednotlivých municipalit objektivně zhodnotit její fungování v Moravskoslezském kraji. Práce se opírá o teoretická východiska problematiky udržitelného rozvoje. V teoretické části také popisuje vývoj Národní sítě Zdravých měst České republiky a sumarizuje dokumenty které udávají její směřování. V praktické části je formou dotazníků zástupcům jednotlivých členských municipalit v Moravskoslezském kraji zkoumáno například povědomí zastupitelů, jejich komunikace v rámci sítě, benefity a úskalí členství v Národní síti Zdravých měst.This thesis focuses on the activities of the Czech national Healthy cities network in the Moravian-Silesian region of the Czech Republic. The main goal of this thesis is describing the structure of the Czech national Healthy cities network and to objectively evaluate its activities using polls and interviews as the main method of gathering data. Theoretical part of this thesis deals with the evolution of sustainable development and the Healthy cities programme and the documents that guide its direction. Practical part of this thesis consists of questionnaire-based research, where individual representatives of municipalities participating in the network answer questions regarding their experience with the network. Questions include for example: how well informed are the broad public and the representatives regarding sustainable development, how does the Czech national Healthy cities network communicate with municipalities and vice versa and what are the benefits and drawbacks of participating in the network.
