Práce pojednává o životě dětí na ubytovně v souvislosti s jejich sociálním fungováním. V teoretické části se práce nejprve zabývá problematikou ubytoven a sociálního bydlení v kontextu s dětmi v ČR. Dále pojednává o sociálním fungování dětí a oblastmi možných sociálních dopadů a rizik života dětí na ubytovně. Výzkumná část práce se věnuje popisu metodologie výzkumu a samotnou prezentací výsledků výzkumu propojenou s diskuzí.The thesis deals with the life of children in a dormitory in connection with their social functioning. In the theoretical part the thesis first deals with the problem of dormitories and social housing in the context of children in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it deals with the social functioning of children and the areas of possible social impacts and risks of children's lives in a hostel. The research part deals with the description of the research methodology and the presentation of the research results connected with the discussion.
