Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá komparací reprezentací ženských hrdinek Captain Marvel a Wonder Woman, které se v současnosti objevují v komerčně úspěšných superhrdinských filmech od studií Marvel a Warner Bros. Entertainment. Cílem práce je pomocí sémioticko-strukturální analýzy zjistit, zda, případně jak, se reprezentace dvou ženských superhrdinek liší a případně jaké genderové stereotypy byly při jejich filmovém ztvárnění použity. Analýza se zaměřuje především na chování a charakter hrdinek, jejich vizuální vyobrazení, a to vše v kontextu mužských postav zkoumaných snímků.This thesis deals with the comparison of representation of heroines Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman, which appear in commercially successful superhero movies from the companies Marvel and Warner Bros. Entertainment. The aim is to find out if, alternatively how, the representation of two heroines differs and also which gender stereotypes were used in their film portrayals (if there are any) using semiotic analysis. The analysis focuses mainly on behaviour and character of the heroines and their visual representation in the context of male characters of examined movies.
