Táto bakalárska diplomová práca sa zaoberá obnovami postihnutých oblastí po Veľkom východojaponskom zemetrasení a následnom cunami, ktoré sa odohrali 11. marca 2011. Cieľom je poskytnúť základné informácie o katastrofe, rozsahu škôd a následne objasniť všeobecné postupy Japoncov pri riešení tejto situácie. Práca sa zameriava na jedno z najviac ovplyvnených miest, Rikuzentakatu, na ktorom konkrétne popisuje jeho stav po katastrofe a podniknuté kroky vedúce k jeho obnove. Za cieľ si kladie zistiť, akú úroveň dosiahlo obnovovanie mesta približne do roku 2017.This thesis focuses on the restoration of areas damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake and a tsunami, also known as the Great Sendai Earthquake or the Great T?hoku Earthquake, which occurred on 11th March 2011. The aim of this thesis was to show the extent of damage caused by the tsunami to buildings, infrastructure, energy supplies and residents in Japan and examine measures that were taken to restore them. Special attention was paid to one of the most affected cities, Rikuzentakata. This thesis attempts to show the progress of reconstructions in Rikuzentakata and specifies how much of the city was restored by the end of the year 2017.
