Práce se zabývá kvalitou života seniorů. Cílem práce je analýza subjektivního hodnocení kvality života seniorů v Domově pro seniory. Autorka provedla kvantitativní výzkum, kterým potvrdila hypotézu, že senioři jsou ve zkoumaném Domově pro seniory s kvalitou života spokojeni. Další hypotéza, že muži jsou spokojenější s kvalitou života v Domově pro seniory více než ženy, byla potvrzena a naopak byla vyvrácena hypotéza, že senioři ve věku nad 90 let jsou s kvalitou života spokojenější, než senioři mladší. Pomocí otevřených otázek autorka identifikovala pozitivní i negativní zkušenosti seniorů s pobytem ve zkoumané instituci. V závěru práce jsou předloženy návrhy ke zlepšení podmínek vedoucích ke zvýšení kvality života klientů.The thesis deals with the quality of life of seniors. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the subjective evaluation of the quality of life of seniors in the retirement home. The author did a quantitative research in which she proved the hypothesis that the seniors in the particular home for seniors are satisfied with their quality of life. Another hypothesis that men are more satisfied in the home for seniors than women was proved as well. However, the hypothesis that seniors over 90 are more satisfied than the younger ones was rejected. Using open questions, the author identified positive and negative experience of the seniors with the stay in the researched home. At the end of the thesis there are presented some suggestions for improvement of conditions which should lead to the improvement of quality of life of the seniors.
