Předmětem analýzy této práce je japonská boys love manga, tedy komiks zaměřený na tématiku lásky a partnerských vztahů mezi muži. Práce předkládá analýzou zjištěné druhy a způsob reprezentací homosexuality a homosexuálních vztahů ve vybraném komiksovém vzorku. Analytické části práce předchází obecný úvod do problematiky pojící se s homosexualitou v japonském kontextu. V práci je tak stručně uveden vývoj a vznik boys love mangy, postavení homosexuality v japonské historii a částečně její reprezentace v televizním a filmovém médiu.The analysed subject of this thesis is the Japanese boys love manga, which is a comics focusing on the topic of love and relationships of men. The thesis shows the types and methods the homosexuality and homosexual relationships are represented in the samples of comics chosen by the author of the thesis. An analysis was used to find out these types and methods in the comics. A general introduction of the issue of the homosexuality in Japanese cultural context precedes the analytical part of the thesis. Therefore the thesis contains brief information about the origin and the development of the boys love manga, the position of homosexuality in the Japanese history, and it also partly shows the representation of the homosexuality in the media, especially on the television and in the movies.
