Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na fenomén diferenciace v evropském integračním procesu s cílem poskytnout jednotnou klasifikaci, terminologii a konceptualizaci. Práce zasazuje jednotlivé flexibilní přístupy (vícerychlostní Evropa, variabilní geometrie, á la carte apod.) do historického i současného kontextu. První část tak poskytuje celistvou a přehlednou klasifikaci flexibilních termínů, s kterými je následně operováno po zbytek práce. Druhá kapitola se zabývá klíčovými faktory (eurozóna, migrační krize, rozšíření, brexit), které ovlivnily nebo doposud ovlivňují vývoj a použití diferenciace. Na základě analýzy je zřejmé, že s každou větší krizí či zásahem do národních zájmů a suverenity členských států vzrostou také požadavky na větší flexibilitu a diferenciaci v EU. Tento závěr je podpořen například rozpornými názory mezi Francií, Německem a státy V4. Poslední část poukazuje na nutnost uznání reality diferenciace v evropském integračním procesu jednotlivými aktéry, navzdory rozporným názorům vůči věší heterogenitě. Většina autorů a evropských lídrů se však shoduje na tom, že diferenciace je budoucností evropské integrace.This bachelor thesis deals with the phenomena of differentiation in the European integration process. Its goal is to provide uniform classification, terminology and conceptualization. The thesis implements individual flexible approaches (multi-speed Europe, variable geometry, á la carte, etc.) into the historical and contemporary context. First part provides a comprehensive and clear classification of flexible terms, which are subsequently operated throughout the thesis. The second chapter deals with key factors (eurozone, migration crisis, enlargement, Brexit) that have influenced or are still influencing the development and use of differentiation. Based on the analysis, it is safe to state that the demands for greater flexibility and differentiation in the EU increase with every major crisis or interference into national interests or sovereignty of member states. This conclusion is supported, for example, by conflicting views between France, Germany and the V4 countries. The last part points out the necessity for recognition of the reality of differentiation in the European integration process by the individual actors, despite the contradictory opinions on the greater heterogeneity. However, most authors and European leaders agree that differentiation is the future of European integration.
