Tato práce analyzuje změny polohy horní hranice lesa ve zvolené části Pradědské hornatiny. Vývoj horní hranice lesa je sledován v období 1836-2016. Vycházeno je ze starých map (1836, 1946, 1960) ty jsou porovnány s aktuální mapou z roku 2016. Práce je doplněna dobovými pohlednicemi z Pradědské hornatiny. Snahou bylo charakterizovat jednotlivé etapy vývoje horní hranice lesa. Výsledkem jsou změny v krajině, které jsou zobrazeny mapovými výstupy zpracovanými v geografických informačních systémech.This bachelor thesis analyzes the changes of the position of an alpine timberline in the selected part of the Praděd highland. The development of the alpine timberline is monitored in between the years 1836 and 2016. It is based on old maps (1836, 1946, 1960) that are compared with the current map from 2016. The work is completed with period postcards from Praděd highlands. The aim was to characterize the individual stages of development of the alpine timberline. The result is changes in the landscape, which are displayed by map outputs processed in geographic information systems.
