Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zjištění celkové spokojenosti rodičů s odlehčovacím pobytem pro rodiny s dětmi s Rettovým syndromem. Taktéž je přiblížen průběh pobytu. Teoretická část je věnována samotnému Rettovu syndromu. Uvádíme jeho charakteristiku, etiologii a symptomatologii. Pozornost je také zaměřena na jednotlivá stádia a epilepsii, je popsán i spolek Rett Community. Následně se zabýváme rodinou dítěte s těžkým zdravotním postižením a respitními službami. Praktická část obsahuje informace o pobytu. Jak se nápad této služby vyvíjel a kdo se účastní pobytu. Dále popisuje program pro rodiče a děti a jsou uvedena místa, kde akce probíhá. Část dotazníkového šetření zjišťuje spokojenost rodičů s celou akcí. Cílem praktické části bylo zjistit, jak na pobyt nahlíží rodiče a veřejnosti přiblížit, jak celý týden probíhá.The thesis is focused on the determination of the overall satisfaction of parents with a relieving stay for families having children suffering from the Rett syndrome. Furthermore, the process of the relieving stay is described there. The theoretical part deals with the Rett syndrome itself. The characteristics of the Rett syndrome, its etiology and its symptomatology are also described in this part of the thesis. It is also important to mention the Rett Community. Subsequently, it deals not only with a family whose child has severe health disabilities, but also with the respite services. The practical part contains information about the relieving stay, the development of this particular service and comments on who the participants are. Above that, it describes the program for parents and children and points out where these take place. One part of the research determines the satisfaction of parents with this event. The aim of the practical part is to figure out what the attitude of parents to the relieving stay is and to describe the process of the stay to the public.
