Práce si klade za cíl vytvořit překlad povídky [komentáře k Deniskovým povídkám] od Denise Dragunského. Je rozdělena na dvě části, přičemž teoretická část se zaměřuje na jednotlivé problémy spojené s prací na překladu, a praktickou část tvoří povídka přeložená do českého jazyka. Součástí teoretické části je i představení autora povídky Denise Dragunského. Následující kapitola je věnována jeho otci Viktoru Dragunskému a jeho známým Deniskovým povídkám. Další kapitoly se podrobněji zaměřují na překlad reálií nebo vlastních jmen, přičemž objasňují některá z přijatých překladatelských řešení.The aim of the diploma thesis is translation of a short story [Comments to The Adventures of Dennis] by Dennis Dragunskij. The thesis is separated into two parts: theoretical, which is orientated on various problems connected with the process of translation, and practical part - the translation itself. The theoretical part includes introduction of author of the story - Dennis Dragunskij. Next chapter is dedicated to his father Viktor Dragunskij and his famous stories The Adventures of Dennis. The other chapters are dealing with for example the translation of russian culture and history objects or the translation of proper names.
