Cílem bakalářské práce je v teoretické části pomocí dostupné literatury zmapovat historii a současnost Galerie moderního umění v Hradci Králové v kontextu historie muzejnictví. Dále se práce zabývá její návštěvností, organizací, financováním, sbírkami a prostřednictvím příkladů konkrétních výstav je představena její výstavní činnost. V praktické části je záměrem porovnat tuto instituci se třemi dalšími, určit její specifika a provést analýzu publika a jeho preferencí na základě dotazníku, který byl návštěvníkům galerie uložen. Poznatky o galerii jsou nakonec shrnuty ve SWOT analýze.In the theoretical part of this Bachelor thesis, the aim is to use the available literature to describe the history and present of the Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové in the context of the general history of museum practice. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the attendance, organization, financing, the collections of this gallery and through examples of specific exhibitions its exhibition activity is presented. In the practical part, the aim is to compare this institution with another three of a similar kind, determine its specifics and realize an analysis of the audience and their preferences based on a questionnaire, which was given to the visitors. The information is then summed up in a SWOT analysis.
