Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na Svátky a zvyky, konkrétně Masopust v německy mluvících zemích. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na ucelené informace o tomto svátku v obecné rovině, o jeho původu, oslavách a dalších masopustních tradicích v německy mluvících zemích. Zároveň slouží jako porovnání masopustních oslav v České republice. Praktická část bakalářské práce se věnuje zjišťování povědomí českých obyvatel o německém svátku, jejímž hlavním cílem je zjistit, jaké znalosti mají, a která ze dvou věkových skupin odpovídala lépe a zároveň má větší přehled o problematice.The bachelor thesis is focused on feasts and customs, or Carnival in German-speaking countries. The theoretical part focuses on comprehensive information about this feast at a general level, its origins, celebrations and other carnival traditions in German-speaking countries. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the survey of the Czech inhabitants' awareness of the German feast with the main aim to find out knowledges of Czech inhabitants and which of the two age groups responds better and at the same time has a bigger overview about this topic.
