My diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical part, which is devoted to several ways we can look at the financial markets and their modeling. We deal with two contradictory theories, behavioral economics and the theory of efficient markets. We also learn more about inflation and stochastic processes that are used in modeling the financial markets, more precisely, when modeling the market price of the stock. The second part is focused on the practical part, in which we deal with several modifications of the model [14] with the help of the MATLAB program. The aim is to test some adjustments that could realistically model real financial markets.
