Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí novinářky v tištěných a online periodicích ve 21. století. Snaží se zjistit, zda je pro novinářky diskriminačním prvkem skutečnost, že jsou ženy, a to v oblasti výběru témat, kariérního postupu, finančního ohodnocení či v reakcích čtenářů na články. Dále řeší jejich osobní přispívání k odbourávání genderových stereotypních rozdílů v oblasti obsahového a gramatického znázorňování žen v periodicích. Metodou výzkumu jsou kvalitativní polostrukturované rozhovory vedené se čtyřmi českými novinářkami, Silvií Lauder, Lenkou Vrtiškovou Nejezchlebovou, Alenou Horákovou a Markétou Kutilovou, které se v současné době pohybují v tištěné či online mediální sféře.This Bachelor thesis deal with the topic of the role of women journalists within printed and online periodicals in 21st century. The main aim is to find out, if being a woman is a discriminatory aspect, especially in terms of topics selection, career advancement, amounts of wages or reader´s responses to articles. It also tackles their personal contributing to reduce gender stereotypical differences in content and grammatical representing of women in periodicals. There was used the research method of qualitative semi-structured interviews with four Czech women journalists, specifically Silvie Lauder, Lenka Vrtišková Nejezchlebová, Alena Horáková and Markéta Kutilová, who are currently active on the field of nationwide and online media sphere.
